I have a converted Saiga AK in 7.62x39, with a 24.5x1mm fsb. I got an American made muzzle brake of the ak74 style, which actually works quite well at reducing muzzle climb and recoil, but I dont like using it as much as I expected due to the massive increase in noise coming back toward me. Ive taken to leaving the muzzle bare for hunting and around the house, and im concerned the threads will be damaged at some point.
Is there a simpler flash suppressor available for the ak74 style threads? Im not looking for something fancy, but id love something to protect the threads and offer some mild functionality.
Thanks.
