AK kits in CA

I was thinking of bulding an AK. Everything I read says to see the parts in person if possible. I do not know of anyplace that sells kits in CA (DO YOU?), so I may order a kit. Who sells quality kits with matching parts? Thanks.

AK parts kits and recievers pop up for sale from time to time.
There are also organized AK build parties, where people get together with their kits and share the tools/machinery needed to make their CA legal AK rifles and CA legal AK pistols.
