Go to one of several AK forums and search out people in your area. See if you can find someone to do the barrel pulling and riveting of the front and rear trunions for you. When I was planning to do a build I looked around and anyone willng to help you usually dosnt charge much more than a good tap cost anyways and you can put the barrel back in with the freezer method and screw the rest in. Check out some of the AK forums Im sure youll find someone in your area who will help you out.
Remember just ask for
1.)Barrel pulling
2.)Riveting of front trunion
3.)Riveting of rear trunion
I was going to to do a build and had it all planned out when I decided to call Global Trades, who are located in my home town. They quoted me $142 to fully assemble my build and provide one of their recievers. Thats 251 for a AK that just need finishing, not bad. In the end I just put a Yugo underfolder on lay-a-way at the local shop though.
