AK/SKS slings

Issued AK slings have a spring clip on the end that may not work with the sling swivels of most rifles. They're also noisy unless you go to some effort to cover the metal parts with something soft. On the other hand, they are VERY strong; you could probably attach one to a tree and swing from it.

I personally have an Uncle Mike's Realtree sling on my AK. :D

The Israeli universal slings are very good and fit everything. You use paracord loops tied to the sling swivels to attach the sling to the weapon.

These guys have a decent price and good service. http://www.zahal.org/rifle/p8.htm

The slings In these pics is that type. The Uzi has the quick adjuster w/plastic hardware.

I went with the East German grey sling from Cope's. As said, it jangles and rattles, but it fulfills its purpose. I am also a fan of neutral and black on a gun, so the grey was also a matter of preference, too.
