I was watching this show on tv and they said "were everyone could be armed and it is the last frontier." I was wondering if they are selling it as "the last frontier" because everyone may have a gun or if because of the landscape. watch it and make you comments. sounds very anti gun to me and don't like it. just me/jim

not anti-gun... seen it... just saying that they come across alot of folks with guns, at drunk stops, dv's, etc...

If anything its pro-gun IMO. There are no concealed carry laws in Alaska, you can open or conceal carry just about everywhere I think. And almost everybody does.

I saw that show too. The trooper was saying, crime has grown enormously over in the last frontier. Nothing different from the lower 48 States accdg to him.
They have plenty of revolver s over there esp backpacking and open carry .

I've seen the trailer. Seems like it's just a statement of fact to me. Sort of like game wardens saying they encounter a higher percentage of armed citizens than other LEO's. I don't know the numbers, but that sounds logical to me.

I'm fairly certain all of our lives would be better if we'd turn the tv off once in awhile, paste a target on the wall and do some dry-fire practice instead.
