Alfa Proj 9mm Revolver Imported by RIA - Range Report

The 605 has a different ejector rod than the 85, and the parts associated with the ejector rod are also different. I have a 605 with a problem in that area, and my bag o' 85 parts is no help. :(
I wonder if your "bag 'o 85 parts" is from an older early '90s model. They changed the design of that mid'90s some time.

@lee n. field I don't have the frame to that Model 85 anymore and don't recall the age. The Numrich schematics show the parts as being different, but that means very little.

@sparkyv It looks like a two-piece barrel to me.

I was able to order moonclips from Amazon. Grips are expensive. Will look for springs today or tomorrow. Plan on shooting it again on Saturday with a friend.

Learned something new today. Didn't know this could be had!

Amazon is a good place to get moon clips, holsters, grips, etc. Costs about the same as Midway or vendors on GB, but faster and cheaper (or free) shipping.

Sometimes they don't provide enough information on the grips. You can just pull up the manufacturer's website to make sure of the model number.

Really have a jones for pistol caliber revolvers ( Halfmoonclip?), but nines in somewhat larger revos work well; I have a Chiappa and a 986, which are pleasant to shoot.
But they are decidedly snappy in J-frames.
