All ammo production to cease?

My daughter in law was in the "Woods and Water" store in Tuscaloosa the other day, and the clerk at the ammo counter told her that due to a presidential mandate, all ammo production must cease on 31Dec2013. Anyone else heard about this. I told her that it would never happen, but she said the clerk swears it's true.

Dec 31 2013 was 2 weeks ago......has any ammo stopped being produced?

A couple years back, a clerk at the largest shop around here was regurgitating the "every bullet will be micro-stamped next year, you'd better buy it now" garbage to boost sales. But the clerk swore that it was true....so did my cousin's third uncle's sister's friend of a friend of a friend's mother-in-law twice removed.....

Let me put it another way, if all production was to cease or was about to cease, do you not think every gun organization such as the NRA, GOA, etc., gun manufacturer, ammo manufacturer, gun club, gun sports organization, etc. would be all over this and shouting about it? If all those companies and organizations were about to go out of business because some factor known by a lowly gun store clerk was about occur, you would think they would all know about it already, right? Think about it.

It probably is true.

December 31 2013 was the last day of the year. The factories closed down January 1 2014 to give their workers off for New Years Day.

And then restarted production Jan 2 2014.
