I hate it when companies make you join their membership list just to buy a lousy spring or recoil buffer. All I want to do is pay for the part and have it shipped. I don't want to give them my phone number, email address, work address or anything else.

All I want to do is buy one gun part.

I don't want to be on the mailing list, I don't want to get the newsletter or promotional announcements, and I don't want additional contact.

All I want to do is buy one gun part.

I don't want to answer a survey or undergo a background check.

So, Saxon, tell us how you really feel! :D:D

I think the answer to your problem is to look up the part on the internet and then send a money order with your order via snailmail. There, solved it for you. :)

The site I just left in disgust had no mailing address or phone number. Had to register and log in to purchase. Screw them. I quit.

Hey, good news, I have that part for sale...just 125,000,000 starting bid...any takers?

High speed internet service.

My complaint is having to join a membership, fill out forms, select a password, log in, provide all sorts of personal information, just to order a gun part.

All I want is a recoil buffer for my Marlin Camp Carbine. I don't want to join anything or create an account or undergo a national security check.

My website/business is set up so that no one has to register
or get on any mailing list or any other BS just so they can purchase
an item or three from me.

My customers seem to like that.
10 years selling my stuff online FULL TIME.

And NO it's NOT gun related stuff.

OP I feel your pain.

Screw them. I quit.
Been there, done that. Most places give you a choice when ordering. And I like a fellow who says how he feels. No beating around the bush BS. :D

Good for you. Why would anyone want to take a chance on doing business with an outfit that has no phone number or mailing address? Brownells, Midway and Numrich Arms via snailmail, no problems. :)
