That I traded my 239 .40 w/nitesites 2 months ago. So yesterday I went to visit it at the gun store. It was hanging there, so lonely amongst the 229's and 220's. It seemed to say "Daddy I wanna go home". SO I BOUGHT MY OWN GUN BACK. Fortunately ( I GUESS ) it cost me $50 more to get it back than trade in value I received. Stupid huh? I couldn't find a gun amongst my collection that fit as well as the 239 as a carry piece

This actually made me choke up, I really need therapy.

The P239 really is all that and a bag of chips, you did the right thing.

You ABSOLUTELY did the right thing!

I almost NEVER get rid of a gun. I'm sure you've heard of "Buyer's Remorse". Well, I feel "Seller's Remorse". I need a bigger safe. And my Browning's not even a year old.:scrutiny:

What me? Yes, I have bought back guns that I sold. At least I usually didn't get clobbered too badly. Watch-Six
