Alliant 2400 vs Hercules 2400

Are Alliant 2400 and Hercules 2400 the same? Can I use the same load data for Alliant 2400 and Hercules 2400?

They are the same, BUT...I would not substitute a max load of Alliant for a max load of Hercules with out working up again. No different than changing lot numbers of any powder.

cp1969 Nailed it. There were lots of reports that Alliant 2400 seemed "faster" than Hercules. Actually I think that some of the old data was pretty hot and there have always been lot to lot variations. I compared the end of a can of Herc 2400 I purchased in 1979 with Alliant 2400 purchased about 2011 and got virtually identical results.
