AMD-65 Problem

I have cut down a standard AK gas tube and was wondering what I could use to swell out the end of it so that it would fit onto the gas block of an AMD-65?? If anyone on here has done this please post some pics. Thanks!!!

how much bigger does it need to grow?

in jewelry its common to resize rings larger by annealing the metal
and hammering it over a tapered cone anvil

you might be able to do it by heating the end with a torch
and using a ball peen hammer as a mandrel

On the other AK boards people are using a 3/8" socket extension and driving it into the gas tube. One thing you must not do is cut it to length then drive the socket in. Cut it long because the belling the tube will shorten it's length. Hope this helps.
