An official site policy of "no politics" notwithstanding, I find this audience amazingly incurious with regard to current events, legislation, public sentiment.
On more than one ocaission I've posted threads about pressing social issues (OJ Simpson trial for instance) only to find no readership. Yes, as a matter of fact I do know how to summarize the content/direction of a thread in the lead/header.
Maybe that and the audience is why things get passed over.
And the "legal" section . . . Besides no political analysis allowed, the forum doesn't discuss pending legislation, but rather if Joe Lunchbucket is legal with open carry in a bar in Podunk.
Doesn't anyone besides me get tired of reading threads: "If you won the lottery and could choose just one caliber . . . "
Or . . .
"Does anybody else sift through the dirt in their tactical wheelbarrow?"
