Ammo find - better late than never...

Found two boxes of 45LC Barnes 200 Grain For-Tx at a GS near Gettysburg, PA. Wish I had it for last deer season.

But this, along with a coming peep sight, puts my Marlin 1894 Cowboy back in the deer hunt game....

The only ammo I have been actually looking for is occasionally picking up a brick of .22lr or .38spl but I'm seeing all the cartridges I stock for regularly now. I can get case quantity of 9mm and .223 for under $400 any time now. The only thing I don't see regularly is 12ga #8-#7.5's, ironically because that's all I could find before.

Nice score on the .45lc's but I bet they were expensive. I'm seeing the big .4 revolver cartridges are still pretty astronomical when can be found, however I did see a box of .44mag for $50/50rd, expensive I know but it was more than double that not long ago....

Just received a couple boxes of Federal 7.62 M80 ball from a friend for Christmas. Given what this stuff is selling for in the stores today, that was a very generous gift!
