Some sellers have ammo, some do not. Most places that have it are selling it at high prices. Some for a little less. Some sellers that have ammo restrict how much you can buy at one time, some do not. Some places that have ammo do not have it in calibers you want, some do not. Some places that do not have ammo are taking orders for when they do have ammo, some are not. Hope that helps. Joe
Up here in Kansas, we talked our local bailbondsman into making it, now I am no longer dependent on walmart I just go down to VIKING ONE LLC formerly viking bail bonds and GI surplus, and get what ever I want or he can make a batch while I wait. All new components just like what you would get from the factory and he doesnt run out. 45 lc, 45 acp, 40, 9, 380 are his everyday makes so see my previous posts where I put his contact info on the board. Or contact me and I will be your intermediary.
While I am of the opinion prices will continue to drop, they will never be as they once were. For example, I think $200/1K rds of 7.62x39 will be as low as we see that caliber go.
Sure hope Im wrong!
As long as the economy continues to slide down, ammo prices should as well. Keep an eye on economic indicators though - once they show the economy is on a (real, long term) upswing, that might be a good time to consider stocking up.
No real changes here yet. Some calibers have always been plentiful this year (.357 sig, .40SW, .45ACP, 10mm) others scarce (.38 special, 9mm) others non-existent ( .380, .357, .45LC).
Which most of mine are, Matt! The "K" frame S&W .357 is a sight to see..she is beautiful. I've been stocking up. Why the heck not. Only quality 9MM for my KAHR....I've grown fond of that SA over the last 4 years.
None just like good honnest people who treat you fairly, and make a product no one else seems to be able to get here in AMERICA, and its AMERICAIN MADE! With all new components. I am all for anyone who outdoes the big box stores like walmart. Not to mention the fact that he is providing a service that seems scarce to nonexistant. I would gladly help anyone out who took the time to purchase an ammo manufacturing liscence, and turn things here around for the better. I will be using his ammo long after Walmart quits selling guns and ammo, oh wait they have already started to stop that in certain areas havent they....
9x18 Makarov is cheaper (online) and more available than 9mm Luger. My guess is it'll flip-flop at some point, which is why I'm reconsidering purchasing a 9x18-chambered pistol.
