Just wanted to point you all to ammunitiondepot.com. I just stumbled over them, they have tons of inventory and amazing prices. Bought some gold dots and lawman ammo. Will update if the experience is good or bad.

I fail to see the "amazing prices" seem to be just slightly over what I'd pay at walmart or cabelas, and maybe right at what I'd pay at a LGS.

Took a look at their website...

No 8mm Lebel.
No 8mm Kurz.
No 7.5 Swiss.
No .303 Brit.
No 8mm Mauser.
No 6.5mm Carcano.
No 7.63mm Mannlicher.
No 8mm French Revolver

In fact, nothing interesting at all... :(

No primers, no powder, no bullets. Decent price on some of the 9mm ammo, but other than that nothing to get excited about.

I am looking for components as I reload all my ammo, so this site is not much use to me.

I did not know anything about prices, only they had what this guy was looking for so I listed it. What's high to you may be ok with others'....especially when others are paying $50 plus for a brick of 22lr. That may seem ok to them but stupid to me.

I have met several of the people that run Luckygunner, they are not bad people but their prices are too much for me

The prices on SD 9mm/45 is very good prices. Tell me locally where you find $30/50 Gold Dots and I will be very impressed.

tommy.duncan - Actually, I just got a case of 7.5 Swiss from SGAmmo a few days ago. Fast shipping, and the price is a third (literally) what LuckyGunner is charging. I'll definitely do business with them again.

FWIW, I've purchased from Ammunitiondepot.com before, and would do it again. Their prices are pretty competitive on some things, an I like that they only list items that are in stock.

The downside, much the same as buying from other online sites, is that shipping is what kills the deal. I really wish these online sites would allow for slower, more affordable shipping. I think it would really help their sales volumes. To make it worth buying online, one has to order a considerable dollar amount, in order to offset the high shipping costs and make the entire purchase worth it...

I hate how so many sites only have 1 method of shipping that is fast but very expensive. midwayusa comes to mind. I don't care if it takes a week to get here, just as long as it gets here. $20 shipping is just nuts if you ask me. then you have cabelas that only costs $5 or $6 for shipping but you can only order 1 item of any hard to find ammo like 22LR or 22mag.

Thanks for posting

in these times of hard to find ammo, a post like this is helpful especially when it generates info about other resources such as SGAMMO. I have been having a very hard time finding reasonably priced 45 JHP for carry. Since I have about 12 guns in this caliber, and like to rotate my carry rounds every so often, I find myself in want of 250-500 rounds of good carry ammo.

That is my situation as well. I can get all the 20-round boxes I want for over a buck a round locally. Good selection and comparatively good prices at ammunitiondepot.com

Maybe things have changed, the shipping from AmmunitionDepot is not fast by any means... 3 working days later it still says processing
