AMT .45 Automag

Making my usual Pawn Shop rounds last week I found a AMT .45 Automag longslide for $625 negotiable.
Anybody have any experience wit AMT in general and this model in particular.
I have heard some iffy second hand info.
I have absolutly no need or use for this gun which is the single strongest argument I have to buy it

I like mine.

I have an IAI Javalina in 10mm Automatic while I haven't "shot the hell out of it" It has held up quite well. I think that you could do a whole helluva lot worse!
