Some idiot goes after his ex-GF in her new boyfriend's place. Idiot charges in with a sword, homeowner grabs his and draws first blood against idiot, ending the fracas . No charges against defender, cops must have been shaking their heads

Given the age range of those involved, I would bet good money all involved are into either the SCA and/or RenFaire scenes...normally not bad folk, I've hung out with the breed in the past.
