I picked up an odd couple for $500: a 'sporterised' 1899 Krag , nice workmanship with original stock and Weaver Side mount with a very clean K2.5 with post. Got 2 boxes of Silvertip 220 grain ammo, two box empty cases, and a like new Boyt military sling. Also got an Armi Jager AP74 in .32, which is a clone of an M-16 but in .32acp, got 2 weird mags which hold 15 rounds I think, and a Nc star 3x scope which mounts like the Colt scope on the carrying handle. I shot the AP74, and it is reasonably quiet with it's 16" barrel and functioned ok with the 9 rounds I stuffed easily into mag before they got tougher. It seemed to group into about 4" at the 50 yard range I fired it at, it was sighted in with the Fiocchi ammo that came with it! What an odd couple! The old boy(80's) that got rid of them said the Krag was all the rifle he needed for hunting and said he bought the AP74 20 years ago because he thought it would be more handy than a m-16 which he wanted for 20 years! :)
