An old beauty

My dad's Ranger 20ga double. He bought that in the 1930s. I harvested my 1st bunnies, squirrels, and pheasants with it in the early 50s. I also got my 1st deer with it using a Brenneke slug in the mid 70s.

That still looks in nice shape. Probably made by Stevens or Savage from the looks of it. No steel shot!

I remember deer hunting in the 70s. We used round 12 gauge slugs. Dad always called them pumpkin balls. I haven’t seen any for years.
