i got a old sears model200a 20ga shotgun (dad bought it 4 me on my 10birthday 38yrs ago) 1st new gun. my ??? is does anyone know who made it? rem//win//sav any ideas?????
has 24''polychoke barrel 3'' chamber.

Most of the Sears/J.C. Higgins shotguns were made by High Standard. They aren't worth much by a collector's standpoint, but they are fine, serviceable shotguns.

I learned on one my dad bought new in the early 1950s.

Its a decent gun and must mean alot to you for having it so long.
