You know, you think you have things figured out, then as circumstances arise and you come to realize what you thought might suffice just doesn't and that there's always that better alternative.
I always feel that I have to trim the fat, to take things down to their most basic elements, to keep things simple, to uncomplicate them.
I feel that when or if ever the SHTF I want to be able to just grab the one or two, a can of ammo and haul butt.

Of course I could've probably just kept the ol' .30-30, 12 gauge pump gun, Marlin 60 and Glock 21 from years ago and have had all my bases mostly covered. However, there is the imagination factor.
So much money spent, so many arguments endured over buying and selling guns, so many guns traded and sold, so much ammo, holsters and accessories bought and sold.
I guess I can chaulk it all up to learning experiences.
I still look at my current collection and consider if I had to pick one or two, what would they be, it's crazy. As much as I'd like to promise myself I'm through, I just can't trust myself enough to say that.

I've put optics on rifles and removed some, finding that some didn't work for me, yet other combinations did.
So, as much as I'd like to say I'm done I just know deep down inside.......there's no stopping evolution!
