Yes, but the nickel coationg interfers with judging when the brass has been heated correctly. If you have some experience with the technique for brass, you can try nickel plated cases using the same time to heat. You cannot tell by the color since the plating changes the appearance.
The nickel can also discolor and it may not be possible to restore it completely.
Unless you have some very hard to get cases, it is rarely worth the trouble.
