Okay guys, after extensive research and gazing at my budget I'm going to get one of these two EBRs.

Which would you choose and why:

Olympic Arms K3B which looks very nice or

DPMS Lite 16

I cannot afford a RRA, Wilson Combat, Colt, Bushy, etc. and I've looked. So of these two which would you guys pick. I like the Oly lifetime warranty but have heard they have a tough time honoring it. The DPMS has a little better reputation but I think Oly's is somewhat undeserved. In fact I started off looking at the Lo-Pro Classic vs. the K16 because everyone I know who has shot a K16 loves them, but then I'd eventually end up buying a different upper anyways which I just can't afford. So I'm basically looking for a basic, light weight carbine with adjustable stock and iron sights.

Get both !!!! :D ( I always wanted to say that).

Ok,Ok, sorry, that was useless, but I couldn't resist. My limited AR stash consists of an old Colt and a Colt/RR frankengun, so all I can offer is what I've read over the years, which I'm thinking mirrors what you've heard and read : Go with the DPMS over the Olympic arms.

Oly has had a few issues over the years, so stay away from them. DPMS on the other hand, has a very, very good reliability record.

I never heard of either.

Get the one that has the best warranty.

How much more is a Bushmaster?

I would turn away from Olympic. I've only heard about two or three people bash DPMS, and those were people who simply fell in love with their new Colts.

Spend the extra money and get the LMT or Colt. Buy cheap pay twice. Buy smart pay once.
