Was the No.4T actually issued with a 1907 sling, or is that just a add-on for the benefit of the present shooter?

Just curious, because it seems that other than the US, most countries didn't use a sling as a shooting aid.

lol, it's funny you say that because i lurk in the Swissrifle forums from time to time and the guys asking about using the sling for the K31s for shooting aid get laughed at by the swiss members

The US 1907 sling was standard issue for the #4T.
