What better way to beat the heat of a southern California day than to head over to the indoor range.

I happily sent the following down range:

100 rounds of 38 spcl -Tried 3 different powders, Winner: Bullseye
100 rounds of 357 Mag *People freaked on report of this load! Luv that H110
100 rounds of 44 Mag - Same as above but more intense.

Came back with all my revolver brass plus met some people who picked up their brass for me:

47 pcs 45 ACP
63 pcs 9mm
92 pcs 40 - all nickel. I thought I scored on some 45ACP but was sadly disapointed when I got home and had a better look. I don't own a 40 either:banghead: My brother will be happy though, I'll give this brass to him.

But still, it was a good day.

Never give your brass away, IMO that's an excuse to buy another gun. That's how I ended up getting my H&K USP!

I hear you, Idano, but I have 3 new toys in DROS right now. And...every time I think about getting a 40 s&w, I find another 1911 that "I can't live without!!!"

I picked up some 9MM, .40, .45, & .223 brass yesterday, but was excited to score almost a hundred .308. All I shot was a few 7.62 X 39 and a few .44 Spl's.

Hey LGB, Kimber will be happy to set up a 1911 for you with .40! They have a compact Ultra off the shelf that is chambered for it. I'm saving my pennies for one. Ditto on the 1911 - From my 1929 38 super to the Colt match, I love them all.

Thanks Griz,

I'm sure that my wife will love to hear that!!! Now I have to figure out a way to break the good news to her.
