New to the forum, Im 24, in the Army, stationed at Ft Campbell, just got back from a year in Iraq. I own a Taurus PT111 Millenium Pro 9mm, a Walther P22, and a brand new Ruger P345, along with a couple rifles that I will be bringing back from Oregon after I go on leave. Longtime firearms enthusiast who wishes ammo was cheaper so I could shoot more!! Hoping to expand my somewhat limited knowledge, and share what I do know. Thanks guys.

Poser Pilot6. Welcome to the forum. Glad you're back safe and sound. Thankyou for serving. Twenty years USAF myself. Now the war stories can flow.:scrutiny: Glad to hear you have Taurus and Ruger products. Have a PT111 Mil/pro and Ruger 95and 97 models. All have given excellent service. What to start a small war over hear? Mention Ruger or Taurus and sit back and watch the sparks fly! Have you been over to www.rugerforum.com or www.unitedforums.com (Taurus Forum among other forums there) and posted with the good folks there? If not, take a gander. This is an excellent forum with many knowlegeable people with a few naysayers about almost anything, but that has to be expected anywhere.Enjoy the stay. :D

Thanks for the welcome, all. Its good to be back home, thats for sure. Possum, I wish I COULD buy another gun with that per diem check, but I just got the Ruger and the wife wants a new washer and dryer... Priorities, brother, priorities lol.

Welcome. I am a Ruger fan as well; a P89, P90, GP100 (4" stainless) and SP101 (2.25") currently reside in my safe. As for the clothes, well, that's what the sink and clothesline are for, brother. :D Shiner Bock and 10mm/.45acp for me, evenly split!

Welcome home Poser Pilot. I'm posting from the big sandbox as we speak, USAF electronics maintainer here. Always good to see more brothers in arms join up. Like folks said earlier, lots of knowledgeable people here, debates get hot at times but the Mods keep them pretty civil. Share your knowledge as someone who's actually been there, and enjoy learning from the folks here too. Welcome to THR.
