Being new to reloading, I have another question: Do I have to have a case cutter?

Here's what I'm doing. I'm reloading .300 WSM and 7mm-08. Reloading and firing each case over and over until they weaken to the point they can't be reloaded, basically. I know these cases stretch and expand during shooting, and I use a full-length sizing die every time I reload. As long as the case is still OK enough to reload, will I ever need to cut it for any reason, or will the full length sizing die be all I need? If it matters these round are only used in my two X-bolts, not multiple guns of the same caliber with differing chamber dimensions.

FL dies do nothing for increased length, so yes you will. Personally, unless you're using multiple rifles or semis, I would neck size only - less wear and tear

Repeted full lgt resizing will almost always lenghten your bottleneck brass quite quickly. You need a trimmer and a way to measure case lenght. A caliper, case lgt gage, ect.

It's the neck of the case that grows in length,so when you fl size, you are pushing the shoulder back to it's correct position to fit the chamber, but the neck is going to be sneaking it's way into the rifleing, and could/probably will cause a high pressure situation.
You do indeed need a cutter and caliper.A simple Lee cutter system is farily cheap but works well, and calipers are what....twenty bucks these days, give or take.?
