I bought ANOTHER Remington 788 in 6mm Rem. That makes TWO I now own.
I just love this caliber and gun for P-dogs in South Dakota. The 6mm is a good choice for whenthe wind picks up in the afternoons.
I ordered scope bases and rings and mounted an old Bushnell 4x12x44 scope I had laying around. Took it out and was shooting the same handloads for the other 6mm (87g HPBT Hornadyand 38.3g Varget) and found this rifle is more accurate by a bit at 100 yards.
This will give us five good rifles for next June.
