As if you don't get enough of those already. After a string of trades over time a couple guns that I would like feeback on.

First, a Browning BDA / Sig 220 45 ACP, polished blue, wooden grips in 90%+ condition s/n 395RRxxxx. Moderate holster rubs on front dust cover and slide flat. Very light rub on the left slide crest beside the hammer. The rest is great, the slide very tight.

Second, a mid-90's (I think) Sig 220 45acp that is 95%+++ condition and has a gunmetal gray K-Kote type finish with bright black contrasting furniture. I called Sig customer service and was told that this weapon left the factory with K-Kote and that K-Kote took on many different shades, but having said that I think that I can see some faint black showing through on the inside the slide track on the receiver. The finish reminds me of a CCR Dura-kote or Cera-Kote type finish. The slide is very tight and the barrel shows little wear. It has cut checkered walnut grips (no trademarks) and a set of Hogue panels, hex screws and bright Tur-Do night sites. It came with 8 factory mags loaded with +P ammo and a Dillon pistol blanket. I'm leaning more towards a complete reworked weapon rather than stock K-Kote. Either way, it is a beautiful weapon in great shape. S/N G259xxx.

Okay guys, what do you think?

Hanged if I know. Are you selling?

A BDM branded P220 showing use does not seem to get the collectors and speculators excited.

A P226 with somebody's paint job is likely a serviceable pistol but is otherwise just another used gun.

Wood grips are kind of unusual but are not going to add much value unless they are factory or name brand (Nils.)

I can tell you I paid $450 for a 1995 220 about 3 years ago from a private seller. I wouldn't call it 95%, but very serviceable. Original night sights, pretty dim by now.
