Local Dems anti-2nd A. protest, v.s. pro-2nd counterprotest

The Dems got mad, because this time, we outnumbered them.

They called us "extremists" and other names. They sent 3-4 opinion hit pieces to our county newspaper and all got publicized. All were full of lies, they called us dangerous, and they made up nonsense about how we had profane signs and t-shirts (even though my video proves that not a single person had such a thing).

One progressive guy came to us, during the protest and tried to provoke a fight by staring in our face... he proudly commented about his heroic act on the Democrat FB page...

The local Dem leader doxxed a woman, just because that woman shared the counter-protest info in a FB group.

4 years ago I organized a counter-protest, so I became their main target. They made up so many lies about me, it was insane. They only stopped when I mentioned to them a lawyer and a lawsuit for libel.

Honestly, I think many of these progressive/SJW people are creepy as heck...

(Yeah just wait until they get their RED FLAG LAW PASSED)

The reason for our side to reach out to news organizations is to have a record of actions of both groups. The "stare down" is an old technique intended to get some hothead to make the first mistake on camera. Call the police when it happens since it interferes with your right to protest.

Local LE should be contacted to keep protesters on opposite sides of the street to prevent these sorts of antagonism.

The music was a very nice touch! :)

Was there any local TV or news coverage?

The local TV had a short article, they refused to take a photo of our large crowd, and they just came back to take a picture when the event was pretty much over. So they got a photo, of about 5 people. They also "forgot" to have any report of the protest-counterprotest on their website, and they didn't upload any video on their Youtube channel either. Even though a protest like this is pretty huge around here in our little town. Instead of that, the local TV had a report on celebrating the county's Democrat Party's birthday.

Ask them to show up and interview you next time so you can say you reached out to them on your social media post. Get your folks to video their presence and interaction and make it clear that you're recording them. It allows you to post video on their social media page if they distort the facts.

We did. They were there, they just refused to even take a photo of our large crowd. The lady with the large camera is an employee of the local TV channel. She just didn't want to take a picture of us, and definitely didn't want to interview anyone on our side. That's how it is, unfortunately. :-/
