Does any company make new versions of old, antique, black powder revolvers like the LeMat or the Colt Dragoon/Walker that fire conventional cartridges like the .357 magnum or .44 magnum?

+1 to Uberti.
They make fine guns.
I have a Uberti 1873 Cattleman (Single Action Army - Peacemaker clone) & am very pleased with it.

Cabela's catalog has all the above mentioned in their catalog.......black powder of course!

The Colt Dragoons and Walker can be converted to fire .45Colt but none are sold that way. Any of the Colt percussion guns can be built into cartridge conversions but don't expect it to be quick or cheap (not referring to conversion cylinders but proper cartridge conversions). There are factory cartridge conversions available on the models 1851 and 1860 as well as the Remington New Army.LeMats were originally converted to fire cartridges but I know of no contemporary replicas.

Here is a copy of the Richards conversion of the 1860, this one chambered in the original 44 Colt.

Other conversion styles are available in various cartridges.

Also available are conversion cylinders from a couple of vendors allowing you to convert your own C&B revolver.

Well, they SOMETIMES make fine guns! :D I've got my second Uberti (an 1860) and had to send it back (the first one, a Dragoon, was much more finely fitted, but the bolt stops in the cylinder were too shallow!). SO, I've not exactly been battin' a thousand with Uberti so far...

There's a number of conversions sold under Cimarron as well. But I'm not sure if this is a different maker or if it's an arm of Uberti.

The Pietta website isn't easy to navigate but perhaps they have a couple as well?

Howdy

Cimarron is an importer. They don't make anything. They import Uberti and Pietta firearms.

You are not going to find modern cartridges like 357 Magnum of 44 Magnum in any Black Powder conversion guns. Those cartridges are just too powerful for those designs. You will find cartridges like 45 Colt and 38 Special, as well as a few more esoteric old 19th Century cartridges. But no modern Magnums.
