ANY ADVICE?

Anyone know any good refinishing companies. I just got a sig sauer p228 9mm finally and i want to get it refinished. I alway's wanted a two tone version but could not find one. So i went and bought a used black one that has some wear on it. I want to get the slide,trigger,hammer,all the levers and screw's done in the silver nickel finish. Then maybe do the barrel black again. Any good advice? Thank you

Trip(p?) Research does great work, you want hard chrome though, not nickel.

I contacted sig and they said that it was a nickel finish that they use on there two tones. But they want 300.00 to do what i want them to do. Does the hard chrome last longer and prevent more rust? Thanks

Get the hard chrome. Tripp Research is widely regarded as one of if not the best refinishers in the business. I've got a HiPower done by them and it is excellent.

Hard Chrome is much better than nickel, harder and more resistant to sweat/salt and other things that cause rust.
