Ok so looking past all the current prices, ammo shortages, etc - how about this question for a little change of tone?

What can we expect to see as the next major "new" C&R gun? Something that's going to be less than $100

Curious to see what people think is coming down the pike.

Maybe somehing like the old 'Guide Lamp' Company 'Liberator', only, made in communist red china, and, chambering one ( 1 ) round of 9mm. with room for a few loose rounds in the hollow Handle...retailing for ohhhh, $9.00, at Harbor Freight...

( Just kidding...)

The M14... we can dream, can't we?

(I know... never going to happen for a variety of reasons.)

Most likely be a handgun, as most service rifles that will be coming into that age bracket are NFA and can't be imported.

Well, it will have to be a gun that has cheap and easy to come buy ammo. So my guess is a 9mm pistol.

The CZ82 (from '82)became C&R eligible about 3 years ago.
Quiet,do you think the .380ACP Mak might follow this early course ATF wise and become C&R very soon?

The CZ-82 was made a C&R firearm because a museum petitioned the BATFE to make it one and the BATFE approved it.

The Mateba Model 6 Unica has a better chance of becoming a C&R firearm than a .380ACP Makarov.

Under 100 bucks?

Some of the orginal S&W model 10's should be getting to the right age, some of them go for around 250.

As far as I know there are only about 3 C&R guns under 100.00 now days, and they are the Russian 1895 revolver, the 91/30 and the Steyer.
