Beautiful Pacific N.W.
This is my grandfathers Colt Agent backup piece.
He was a King County Detective forever( well, my forever anyway)
I have hade it for about 20 years now.
I take it to the range about 2X a month.
This thing works as a new firearm!
When I shoot it, I clean it.
Even my 15yr. old son, shoots this thing VERY WELL!
I shoot @ the range w/Pachmayr rubber grips, but have the original Walnut
checkers that came w/it in 1957.
Tight closure on cylinder
Both SA & DA seem to work flawlessly.
This is without exception the best carry weapon I have ever had!
Will never, ever, part w/this thing, just wondering if anyone had any info.
Thank You All !!!!!!!!!!!

colt agent

I have been working on buying one of these. I have read they were made in smaller numbers then the detective, and gunbroker seems to have these for around $500.
If you go to gunbroker and do a search of completed sales, say , in the past 30 days, you can see what the open market is paying for them. I think prices are higher overall in the market because of our new Democrat President, and the fear of more gun control.
It would be cool if I end up with a 1956 (my year of birth) or a 1957 (the year my house was built).
