My wife likes the Kahr .380 more than my LCP.

Please post your P380 and CW30s .

Also, any holsters and accs. as well that you use with your .380s.

Interesting.

I've checked out the SIG .380s and cocked and locked in my pocket
is not exciting.

Always nice to hear from you.

I can respect that. People have different levels of tolerance for different systems and everyone should own the one that works best for them.

I have two Kahr pistols an am completely satisfied with both. My K9 is eighteen years old and has bee a model in reliability.

Wife used to own a P238 but wasn't happy w/having to find/manipulate the small safety under stress.
Checked out a P380 and she likes it as the long, smooth/light trigger pull obviates the need for a manual safety.
It does have more perceived recoil than her SIG P250sc .380 but then the P380 is much smaller/lighter.
We added a Hogue Handall Jr to increase the shooting comfort and she's happy w/it for her CCW.
ETA: We did the suggested prep/lube work before shooting it the first time and so far it's been 100% w/FMJ & Buffalo Bore 100gr +P hardcast.

I've got a P380 and I think it is a smooth, light recoil shooter. I also have a Colt Pony Pocketlite and I have to say it is better; however it mostly lives in the safe. It believe the P380 is the best one out there and I've spent way to much money trying many different .380s. I know kokapelli disagrees, but for me I just don't want a miniature 1911 in my pocket or for that matter a full sized one either. Anyway either one will be good.

Have a P380. Rarely carry it, it's really just for those instances where I want to carry something and concealability is just about the only consideration.

It's not exactly 'fun' to shoot, the trigger is way too long for my tastes, and out of the box, it's in desperate need of a de-horning....but it's reliable, it disappears in a pocket, the factory sights are usable, and at .380, it's good enough for my own risk management assessment.

My sister has the Kahr P380 and has shot it many times here at my farm range. It has a stiffer recoil spring than most 380 pocket pistols but it allows you to use the powerful Buffalo Bore +P 380 JHP ammo without problems. She is strong and has no problems with racking the slide. I like it and with Buffalo Bore ammo, it is a fine pocket gun with plenty of up-close punch.

Why do you think you need stiffer recoil springs for Buffalo Bore? I have shot Buffalo Bore through my P3AT, TCP, P238, Micro Desert Eagle and my Bersa, all with standard factory recoil springs and had no problems with any of them!

I have shot Buffalo bore in my Taurus TCP with no problems too. But, the P380 Kahr just comes with a much stiffer spring. Most Kahrs do. Anyway it is not my gun, and my sister loves it. Recoil is mild as well.

I own a P380. The gun has performed very well, but it can be a bit picky when it comes to ammo feeding. I use Corbon exclusively after having issues with other brands. The gun is accurate, has a good trigger, and is easy to carry and conceal. You will not be disappointed IMO.
