any kahr carriers out there

I just sold a 380 auto NAA guardian (owned by kahr) and loved it (but 380 is no man-stopper). My next gun will be a PM series. I hear they have a really long break-in period though.

Yep. Kahr P9. Same size as your CW9, just a little pricier. Kahr recommends a 200-round break-in for their guns.

I ve put about 100 rounds thru mine so far and absolutely love it. feels good in my hand, feels good on my hip, and is practically invisible. I was concerned with recoil in such a small light frame, but I was pleasantly surprised how well i could stay on target. this ones a keeper.

SWMBO bought a CW-9; grip felt right!? ANyway, she's not shot it enough to feel comfortable carrying it, still toting an East German Makarov (nice!). The CW-9 has 100 or so rounds through it without a problem, after I polished the feed ramp. Long, but silky smooth trigger, at least as accurate as my Glock 19. I wouldn't hesitate to carry it.

Stay safe.
Bob

PM9 with CorBon PowerBall in a Bianchi Black Widow on the belt or an Uncle Mike's in the pocket.

I've got a PM9 with about 300 rounds through it. It's really easy to carry, but at this point I just don't seem to have the "knack" down and so I carry my P-3AT or USPc most of the time instead. Truth be told, the Charter Undercover seems to almost fit the same niche, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do at this point. I'd love to be able to just use the Kahr, but I can't seem to get it any more accurate than the P-3AT.

Edited: esq_stu unintentionally brings up an important point: it doesn't always chamber a FMJ round well as the first one, so I either carry Pow'r'Ball or Gold Dot with a Pow'R'Ball on top. It chambers fine while shooting, just not initially. I also use either an Uncle Mike's IWB or a Bianchi (officially for some kind of Glock, but the slide is pretty similar) OWB. I carry the flush mag while holstered but the extended mag is much easier to aim.

well hey you gotta carry what your most comfortable shooting. I had a m&p that i really liked but it looked like I had a banana under my jacket so I decided to go smaller. Id get another m&p though but Ill get a shoulder rig with it.

Kahr CW9 is my favorite shooter.

Over 1600 rnds of comfy light recoil accuracy (holes touching at 15 ft. with WWB PP JHP's).

I too used to carry a Mak (too heavy, harsh recoil) and then a Bersa .380 (hever felt it was enough power). I even tried a PPK/S (beautiful gun but nasty recoil and unreliable).

The Kahr is just too perfect!

My fiance just fell in love (been trying to find that perfect gun for quite some time now) with a CW9 so after a week of thinking about it and getting to try it out on the range, a brand-spankin-new one followed us home today. She really likes the grip size for her small hands. She said the recoil was "close but not quite as much as [friendsname]'s .40 fullsize XD". Haven't found a holster yet b/c she doesn't want to do pocket carry.

I have and use a PM9 for those times when I don't wish to strap on a holster - I put in my pocket, in a Mika pocket holster - but still retain most of the cartridge power and shooting qualities of a larger gun. I also have a E9.

I always have my Kahr Mk40 somewhere nearby. OTOH, I also always have my KelTec P32 somewhere nearby.
I have sort of an order to my carry guns. Always have the P32.
Kahr is either on me or close by.
If the Kahr is on my person a .45acp is on me or close by.
I've had my K40 for about 10 or 12 years. It has never failed in any way and it is way more accurate than I could ever hope to be.
I really don't know anything about the other Kahr models, but I do know that if I can carry anything bigger that a mouse gun I carry my Kahr.

I just sold a 380 auto NAA guardian (owned by kahr)

What?! Kahr owns NAA? I think you're mistaken.

back to topic;
I've been testing this P45 for carry. I've found it to be ammo sensitive, but reliable and accurate with the right ammo. Tried some +p but it rocked my grip too much. I'll stick with normal loads, so far Gold Dot 200 or 230 gr work well.

I love my CW9. I have about 1000 rounds thru it with out a single problem. I am looking for the CW45 next.

i have a k-40 and it is awesome , reliable, accurate, conceals well and is comfortable to wear on long road trips and all day long. my wife has decided that she needs it more than me and it is now her ccw. btw she loves it too, and she chose it over all other handguns makes and models. she handles and shoots it well.

K40 for several years... Shoots great, absolutley 100% reliable with over 1500 rounds through it. I've fired just about every brand of ammo available locally with zero problems.
