I was fortunate enough to avoid some pre-ban panic prices on pmags and others, trying to find at least a few more AK mags for a still reasonable price just in case. Anyone got a genie in a bottle with a site you know still has some stock and hasn't skyrocketed the cost?

wideners is trying to dump tapco 30 rnd mags for $9. please do not misconstrue this as a recommendation

I don't have an AR but I got 20rd mags for a Sig 226 from cheaper then dirt for $24 each. Priced right but shipping took FOREVER! 3-5 days my @$$ took them 15 days to deliver!

Backorder them from a place like Brownells or Midway that aren't price gouging.

I managed to get some prior to them running out of stock. Hell I got a 10 pack of 30 round PMags for $120.90 with free shipping. $34.50 for one PMag is absurd.

I ordered some 50 round PS90, Desert Eagle .357mag, and a couple of 30 round asian contract mini-30 mags from CDNN last friday. They already charged my card, but I asked the rep and he said all the mags were in stock. All the mags were still at resonable prices.

AK mags, I dunno online but I still found them at last weekend gun show for around $30.

AR mags are mostly out of stock online, except a few selling GI mags for around $20 each. Expect more around February.

I was lucky and got an AR for Christmas but no mags came with it. I have orders with Brownells, 44mag & Florida tactical waiitng on them. I spoke with Brownells this morning and the rep said there is no ETA on shipping date and that they weren't even taking new orders. So my gun sits and waits for a mag. At least I have my gun and the mags are in process.

Gunbroker has hundreds of pages of Pmags, USGI, etc. etc. albeit a steep markup.

I just bought a bunch of Finnish LS-26 magazines and a couple Vickers belts...but I don't think there's much of a frenzy over those right now. :p

Let this be a lesson to everyone - when this craze passes over and prices come back down to normal, stock up. Don't wait until the last minute to get stuff like this. If you did, my condolences. :(

Just got back from my local runnings. They had steel 30 rd ak mags for $25 and drum mags for $150. They even had some ar15 drum mags for like $250.....

Dad spotted around 100 PMag's in an Academy Sports in East Texas last Friday for $14.99/each. They are out there.

Baldman- This is a situation where I WOULD pay a jacked up price for 2 high quality steel mags for your AR, pure based on "what if?" That would really suck to have a non-transferable gun and need non-transferable mags for it.

Hilarious guy. I sold enough of my SKS stockpile at completely stupid prices to put a true Fabrique National made FN-FAL Match pre-ban that has the coveted "Made in Belgium". Had no trouble scoring original metric magazines for it either although I aready had several that were bought in previous deals to feed my Springfield SAR-48. The guy seling it had the same price on it this week as he did two months ago and was negotiable. Trading combloc guns for a Belgian battle rifle is a no-brainer. It fleshes out my FN-FAL collection finally. At least all the variants I want...

My back ordered Pmags from Midway that weren't due to ship until the 29th are already in the mail.

Dr. Sandman, not a bad thought but I received an email overnight that some of my order is on it's way today. Scheduled some time with a friend of mine to go test it out.

All the mags on Midways site and Brownells site are unavailable for backorder.
