Huge Beretta fan as well. I have several 92FS/M9 models around the house as home defense weapon due to reliability, accuracy and familiarity. All loaded with with 124gr +p Gold Dot and I have high confidence in the load. I trained with it in the army and qualified expert as I did with every weapon and weapon system placed in my hands. The decocker/safety is second nature and the double action to single action transition does not cause me issues after thousands of rounds. The wife and both daughters are also very familiar with the weapon and can employ it with good effect.

I've shot a couple and have like them quite a bit. When I was considering my a 9mm "fun range gun," I was looking at IMI's Baby Eagle and a Beretta's M9. I liked both, but I went with the Eagle in the end and haven't regretted it for a moment. I may still pick up a Beretta M9 someday. I really really want to get this.

my first handgun was a 92fs - still have it - still love it. It's my most accurate shooter - too heavy for CCW but great for home defense and the range, and like someone else said it's a classic piece, and as they are phased out of service and replaced by polymers and .45s, it'll become as iconic as the 1911 IMO.

I'm a huge Beretta fan and the Model 84 was my first handgun which I bought back in 1978. I don't have much of a collection but I treasure what I have.

...

Beretta made a believer out of me some 2yrs ago, with my ever-ongoing Px4 40.

Just a back-up safe queen (my new factory replacement one) as all my Sig P229's took over, especially in the 40cal department..

Glad I have her though, she's a beauty..

I have owned my 92FS since 1993 and love it more today than I did when I bought it. In the past 18 months I have used it for my CCH certifiction and for a tactical course. I have learned that the Beretta is a far more capable weapon than I am a shooter! And with the new BarSto barrel/Wolff spring kit (took some hints from the AMU) this thing is a smooth cycling tack driver. Although I carry my G21SF for everyday CCH, when it comes to the Beretta, nothing could replace it for me.

Beretta fan here too.

Have 2 of them - a 92FS and a PX4 9mm.

I have no problems with the placement of safety/decocker, as I have no prior experience with other handguns (ie 1911). I find it natural.

If I couldn't have my most trusted 1911a1 during a spot of trouble, I'd definitely want my Beretta PX4 in 9mm over every other pistol out there, which is the highest endorsement I can give it.

big beretta fan here too. I have a 92F and CX4 9mm. They make awesome firearms and are one of the oldest corporations/gun manufacturers in the world. Theyve been around for almost 500 years. Alot of history.
