I have a browning BPS, and I know Ithaca makes bottom ejects; anybody else??
Being left handed, I'd like to see what other choices I have...

Nothing current. The old Remington 17 was like that, a precursor to the Ithaca.
As for LH operation, IMO people make more of this than need be. I've done fairtomiddlin' work sinistrally,including practicals and on deer.And I taught hundreds of COs to shoot RH weapons, including southpaws.
With an 870, the safety can be manipulated easily by rotating the firing hand during the mount to push the safety to off using the thumb.
Some folks say they have trouble when the empties go whizzing by their faces, but I believe this is overstated.

Dave, when I sold guns, the bottom eject was favored by duck/goose hunters, right-handed or wrong-handed, who did not want to whack their buddies with hulls while at close quarters in the blind. One would think their buddies would be too busy/excited to notice.

I've been looking into this for my father-in-law recently, and the more I do, the more I like the BPS.
The main advantage I see are that it is truly ambidextrous. The tang safety is easy to use regardless of which side you shoot from. This helps not only with resale, but if you let anyone else shoot with it (such as introducing new shooters to the sport).
I really like the tang safety, since I do the bulk of my hunting in the winter, and they are just that much easier to operate with bulky gloves.
I've also got a slew of Invector+ choke tubes, but that's another issue. Were I looking for a 12ga pump for waterfowling, I'd seriously consider the BPS.

Norinco has a bottom dump on the market. It has synthetic stock and ghost ring sights.

I can't get my wife to come to the range very often, but when she does, strangely, her favorite thing to do is blast stationary skeet set up on the berm. She has found that the recoil of my (non-bottom eject) Norinco 12g is more easily handled when she shoots from the hip than if she shoulders the gun.
I've tried it as well, and have found that you can become quite accurate shooting from the hip at reasonable distances. Thinking it through, it struck me that hip shooting gives you a greater ability to manuver in the close quarters of a home defense situation, i.e., you can manuver in narrow hallways more easily because you don't have the full length of the gun out in front of you.
Here's the problem -- as a lefty, when hip shooting, the spent shells eject into my left hip, and have even bounced back into the breech and jammed the gun. A bottom eject would solve the problem. I'll have to look for the bottom-eject Norinco you mentioned -- do you have a model #?

El Tejon, I've shared blinds and boats with lots of auto and pump gunners, can't recall many dings. None hurt, nor scarred.
TR, the BPS is a good shotgun. It's overpriced, IMO, but it's plenty of gun. It's not made in the US, either.
Provalov, fire some fast COFs with your shotgun of choice from standard postion and the hip. Shoot for score and time. Note the lower scores and longer times from the hip, and decide if you want to stake your family's safety on a less effective technique. NOBODY, repeat NOBODY, shoots as well from the hip as they do from the shoulder.
As for your wife,spring for a few lessons from a qualified instructor for her. Benefits will be amazing, tho she may outshoot you afterwards.

My friend's brother has an Ithaca featherlight of old; and he says that everybody likes to go duck hunting next to him, no hulls...
I like the BPS a lot, the bi-pass button is on the left side, so I can use my index finger being left handed..
I currently have a 20 gauge, I think when I'm back in the states, that 20 gauge will go to my gf and I'll be getting myself a 12 gauge... I love them!

I had A Remington Model 10A that was bottom eject. Piece of S@#% if you ask my opinion. They stopped production quickly.
