I am thinking about getting some work done on my Mil-Spec and before I go through the hassels of shipping it off, I wanted to know if there were any reputable ones close to me. I would like to get my slide cut for new sights, and some Heinie installed, barrel and bushing fitted, and some other miscellaneous (how the heck do you spell that word? :banghead: ) work done.


P.S. - Why the heck to some sites charge over 150 for just fitting a barrel :eek:
 
I know a guy who's had some work on his SA 1911, he was pretty happy with the work and knows the guy pretty well, I'll try and get his number and put you in touch with him.
