Any reports/opinions on Winchester?

Looking at the Winchester Apex. Local store has one for $199 on sale. Cabela's has them for $229 on sale. Same action as Omega...but a little heavier and less quality. Apex has longer barrel though. I'm trying to save money b/c I won't be shooting it much....just for deer season. Plus....my wife will feel better about a $200 purchase. So...any reviews or opinions? Are they accurate? Reliable? Is $199 a good price? (I know they and CVA's are made by same company)

If you look around you should be able to find a TC rifle (Black Diamond) in that same price range. Based on what I've read about CVA on another forum I'd stay clear of them.
