I've had mine for a couple of weeks now but have only had one box of 20 95 grain light 327 mags to put through it. I have put a couple of boxes of 32 S&W long wad-cutters and a box of 32 H&R mags too and it is a pleasure to shoot with the light loads. I look forward to getting the heavier stuff latter in the week.
The gun fits nicely in the hand and balances well. When I first took it out the box I was struck by the muzzle diameter, about .378 or 9.5mm due to the expansion chamber and port. It's an impressive sized hole to be staring into, a plus in intimidation factor. I would have preferred fixed or night sights as it's not just a paper punch, I plan on carrying it. In daylight the comp is unnoticed, I'm waiting for the heavier loads to see how bad the comp blast up in line of sight will be. I wonder though if in a real stress fire situation it will be a factor.
Mines sku # 178028, a satin silver finish which I have not seen on the S&W site, just the 178046 hammerless and 170329 black finish.
