I am flirting with the idea of getting the Sig P250. I just seem to like the concept. I was reading an article in Combat Handguns Magazine and the autor had nothing but praise.

Correct me if I am wrong the 9mm, 40s&w, 357sig and the 45acp all use the same fire control assembly.

however the fire control unit and grips are all interchangeable except for the 45acp which you will need separate grip units.

of course the barrel and slide will need changed for all calibers and sizes.

also there is Fullsize compact and subcompact all three available in 3 widths, to make 3 different size guns each with a choice of grip width.

Just making sure as the writer and the Sig advertising are not very clear on it.

All right, except .357 Sig and .40SW will probably share the same slide.

Of course, this is all speculation as nothing has been officially released from Sig, and they still haven't updated their website content at all. But yes, they're supposed to be full size, compact (currently available), and subcompact in small medium and large grip widths, and choice of caliber. Sig has said subcompact may not be out until late summer. So hopefully everything will be out by the holiday season. :neener:

Aside from that, they shoot quite nice. A buddy bought one of the first ones out, and I put some sounds through it with him. Very smooth, long double action trigger. Feels great, and shoots quite nice. I'll get one eventually, I think. :)
