I just sent off the money for this today, so it isn't sitting in my hands as I type this. It was made in the early to mid 1800's. I was told it was belgian and that some smith years back had doctored it up any tried to pass it off as a Purdey. This is pretty much my second shotgun, first being a 870 20 ga. which I sold. I am into black powder, so I wanted a muzzle loader.
Though I plan on just using black powder, should I get this sleeved with hard chrome, or just use it as is?

I just realized the pics I have of it are on my work computer, but it you are interested, I have pics of it posted in the black powder forum.
