Anybody good with russian uniforms? Batman inside...

OK, I know this isn't necessarily gun related, but I am also looking to identify the gun that this costume needs, so I think it fits here. I will try and find some pics of the gun, but maybe somebody already knows. I just cut and pasted this from militaryphotos.

I am trying to construct a costume based on this character:

It is an alternate universe version of Batman, in which he is a maniacal terrorist in 1950s/1960s Soviet Russia. I understand that this is a comic, but I would like to make the "accurate" parts as accurate as possible. I could just use grey BDUs, but I found this:

And it looks almost exactly like what I want, but I can't find any more info on it. I would be grateful if anyone here could give me any more info on the uniform or gear that would be best suited for this costume.

Can't help with the uniform, but both the Makarov (PM) and the Stetchkin (APS) pistols entered Soviet service in 1951.

OK, attached are some pictures. He never actually pulls out his gun, so I guess it doesn't matter, but the guy with the gun is the one that killed his parents, so I am thinking he might be using that specific model in a crazy revenge way if you can identify it.
