Anybody got an Elk this hunting season yet?
As the title implies, the elk has to be have been harvestd this hunting season... I know you want to stretch the year, and include early from 2011 as still this year, but for this thread, That Don't Count.

Only after August 2011 - If you have; Congratulations, You have done something i've never done, though still planning. If you want to share a story or pic, feel free to do so.

I shot one with my recurve last week and my freezer is FULL.

As soon as I get this new PC sorted out I'll post some pics.

Waiting until Saturday morning.Only have to drive less than 5 miles from the house. My neighbor has shown me video of two 6 by 6,s on the property I'm hunting.Counting down!

Got 2 elk tags to fill this year already seen several nice 5x5s a 6x5 and a few raghorns all of these are roosevelts so its trophy class critters.

Archery season is under way, two of my good buddies have tags. Here is my friend Travis's AZ bull. Haven't heard what he scored yet:


I was able to get out to camp and hunt with them for 2 days but nothing died while I was there. There were 5 tags in camp, 4 or 5 are filled with 2 days left to hunt. Here's a nice bull one of the guys in camp got, scored 345":


Here's 3 heads from the 3 guys I hadn't met before the hunt. The bigger one in this picture is the bull in the previous picture that scored 345. The other bulls score right at 320. Fun stuff, there ain't nothing in this world like bugling bulls:
