I have two older double barrels in different spots as well as a Navy arms .44 black powder pistol. The two shotguns I would not fire so they make nice decorations.

You know, this makes me want to puke.

When I was a kid, every household I knew (farm country) had guns out. Now you can't even enjoy your own stuff without worrying about someone stealing it.

You should live in California. Iffin some punk low life gang banger should steal you wall hangers, and use them in a crime, guess who goes to jail. :fire: :cuss: I had to put mine in a safe years ago. (except for the 1+ I carry around legally.) :D

I'm sorry but I'm not at liberty to divulge that kind of information.:p

I can however disclose that all of my firearms are functioning shooters.:D

4 of the six guns i own are on the wall. I am in a very very low crime area, though. I have never even heard of a house getting broken into around here.

No wall hanger rifles but I have My Grandfathers old service pistol a Savage M1911 in a custom made shadowbox in my den. He was a MP in France in the last days of WWII. As far as I know its functional but I never have shot it. It looks to be in 100% condition almost unfired, I know he never shot it after he got back. It was given to me by my Grandmother after his passing in a old busterbrown shoebox dripping with oil and covered in dust . I never wanted to take it out shooting for fear of damage that may result. I know guns are made to be shot but this is more of an heirloom than a gun to me.

I have an 1867 J.PeterLongo damascus 16ga. that I have had proudly displayed for the 20+ years since my grandfathers passing. His grandfather received it from the maker for some barn work done in Austria many moons ago.
Where I live, There are many barriers between my wallhangers and the outside world. So far I guess I have been lucky, Lets hope this piece remains on my family's wall for eternity.

muzzle loading shotgun for unkown make, great great great grandmothers shotgun. havnt put it up yet, as i havent had time to make a good mount board

A pity, no wall-hanger guns. Wouldn't have one that doesn't shoot modern ammo, and fully functional guns need be secured these days. Perhaps someday I'll figure out how to attach a secure mount to the wall, nice to display but hard to remove.

Do have an antique sword hung up though. Rare "naval mount" katana.

I've been meaning to get a couple of Mosins and hang them in a semi crossed pattern. They are inexpensive, they are historical, and they look nice (I guess thats subjective :) ). It wouldn't be the end of the world if they got stolen. Maybe I'll just get another laminated M44 to go with the one I've already got and hang them both. Then when I go to the range there's one less gun I have to dig out of the cabinet. I'd never keep ammo nearby though, I have much better setups for home defense. Touching that thing off inside a room is not something I even want to consider.
