Ive got one that i might sell or trade (listed under rifles for sale on this site) and ive shot about 100 rounds throught it and im impressed with its accuracy but when i look up info on them, there seems to be little there. i bought this about 1 year ago from a fellow coworker because he needed money and was getting divorced. i took it because it looked like it was a quality g3 clone and plus i felt sorry for him. anyway im wanting to get a m4 style ar and this might be a trade or sold to get one but i still would like to know more about this rifle. thanks

I wish that I had great things to tell you about this rifle, but Federal Arms does not have the best reputation. Is the receiver cast aluminum? I know that they did make a few with stamped steel receivers but most were aluminum and there in lies the problem, The G3 action is an extreamly robust setup, the problem is that it is a blow-back operated system and the bolt carrier has a lot of mass and is very heavy and more than a few of these rifle have developed stress cracks due to the fact that the receivers are cast metal. Now I am not saying that you should be afraid of shooting it, because I know some people who have them and have not had any problems. The main thing in my opinion is that you should probably only shoot 7.62X51 NATO rounds and stay away from factory .308 ammo and anything steel cased. But if you are planning to sell it to fund another purchase you should be able to get around $500-$600 depending on condition and extras.

This is this! It's not something else, it's this!
