I have a question about Lewis , machine and tool?

Im thinking of building,a snap build at least an ar15/M4 and I have just finished my armorers course for the army, well about a month ago(now the unit armorer,) so it only seems logical get an ar for my self, I work with them enough ,I love 308 rifles but every gun enthusiast need at least one 223/5.56 rifle, right? I have heard about the other makers, the bushys,armalites,olys and rra's oh and colts but I dont here much about LMT any info, I will be a range/plinking/SHTF rifle because Im not ready to wait 3 months for a DSA STG58, thanks in advance high road, you all have been a great help so far and I appreciate the respect you give the armed services on this site, much thanks,

They're top notch. Every bit as good as Colt and you won't regret buying one.

LMT is up to par with Colt when it comes to M4-style AR-15s. The only things they lack compared to a Colt 6920 is:
* Single Shield Hand guards
* They don't parkerize under the FSB
* They use straight pins instead of taper pins on the FSB.

On the plus side, they have standard size FCG where Colt uses a slightly larger size.

Personally I prefer LMT over Colt since its more of a PITA, and more money to get a Colt over an LMT.
