I just learned of a relatively new powder measure - the Quick Measure. Doing a search, I found one mention of it but no other info. Is anyone here using one? I'm specifically interested in metering extruded powders like IMR4895, Varget, and H4350, and whether or not the manufacturer's claims as to consistency are true. I have had some luck with my Hornady LnL measure but it's not as accurate as I would like with these powders, and I know it's cutting powder. If the Quick Measure is going to be significantly better, I'd love to hear about it.

I`ve one and the measure works.
I`ve used it with H4350, R19, and R22 as far as extruded powders, and it gives +/- 0.10gr accuracy with NO cutting of the powder. The way the measure works it simply can`t cut. I`ve also tried it with Power Pistol ( a very fine flake almost ball like) and it drops almost every charge dead on. I weighed about 40-45 charges of Power Pistol when I first recieved the measure and I doubt there were 6/7 charges that varied from the charge I wanted, then they were with in the 0.10 gr claimed accuracy.
One does need to play with it for a few charges though to get a repetable motion going. The measure is consistant but does need to be worked consistantly. The charge can be affected by sloppy operation easier then with my old Lyman 55.

Ol' Joe - thanks for the data. It sounds like your experience matches up with the claims.

Ty - that's the thread that prompted me to post here. I wanted to solicit some more reviews since I could only find this one and I figured THR gets more traffic than nationalmatch.us. Now I've got the review on that nationalmatch.us and Ol' Joe's input here as well.
